Chris is the Managing Partner at Christie-Phoenix. With over 20 years in the industry, previously as a Senior Vice-President for a large publicly traded International Insurance brokerage, Chris brings a wealth of experience to the Christie-Phoenix team. He has obtained both his Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker and the Certified Risk Manager designations. Chris Specializes in larger complex risks including property portfolios, manufacturing, marine and construction.

Grenville Finch-Noyes, MBA, ARM
Grenville is the Vancouver Managing Partner at Christie-Phoenix and has provided insurance and risk management advice, assistance and problem solving to his varied clients since 1976.
Prior to joining Christie-Phoenix, Grenville served as the managing partner in Vancouver and as a national executive committee member of one of Canada’s largest, privately-owned insurance brokers. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Commerce from Queen’s University in 1972, his Masters of Business Administration from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario in 1976, the Associate in Risk Management from the American Institute of Insurance in 1981 and he completed the Canadian Securities Course in 1984.
As a senior member of the Christie-Phoenix team, Grenville is focused on personalized client service and on providing achievable risk solutions through insurance, specialized risk management consulting, contract reviews and international risk placements for his clients, most of whom he has enjoyed the privilege of working with for more than 15 years.

Barbara Gillespie, FCIP
Barbara is now a partner of Christie-Phoenix after joining the firm in 1983. She was awarded the Gold Medal for top student in BC in attaining both the Chartered Insurance Professional designation and Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional designation. A strata insurance specialist, Barbara is responsible for managing the strata and apartment program at Christie-Phoenix. Our program is not only the largest on Vancouver Island, it is recognized as providing some of the broadest coverage available. She is also very experienced in all other types of commercial accounts and has numerous long-term clients.

Nolan Peters, CAIB, CIP, CRM
Nolan is now a partner of the firm after joining in 1992. Nolan has obtained the Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker, Chartered Insurance Professional and Certified Risk Manager designations. With this background Nolan is able to provide in depth risk management services to his client. He specializes in large commercial accounts that include hospitality, realty and manufacturing. Nolan also currently serves as President of the Victoria Insurance Brokers Association and director on the Insurance Brokers Association of BC.

Noelle Arneson, CAIB, CIP
Noelle joined Christie-Phoenix in 1989 and serves as an Account Manager and back-up support to Nolan Peters. She has obtained both her CAIB and CIP designations. Noelle is responsible for realty and business insurance packages. She is also responsible for oversight of the day to day administration issues for both her own and Nolan’s accounts. Noelle also acts as our claims facilitator for commercial accounts and will work with our clients to ensure the claims process is handled professionally.

Krista Clarke, CAIB, CIP
Krista joined Christie-Phoenix in 2005 and works as an assistant to both Chris Flint and Barbara Gillespie. She has achieved her Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker designation with honors as well as her Chartered Insurance Professional designation. Krista is responsible for oversight of paperwork and documentation and day to day administrative issues. She also serves as an additional resource for both Barb and Chris’s clients, responding to routine inquiries and requests.

Tara Parr, CAIB, CIP
Tara joined Christie-Phoenix in 2000 she wears multiple hats in the office: Office Manager, Personal Lines Manager and Marine Specialist. She has both her Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker and Chartered Insurance Professional designations. Tara is past president of the Victoria Insurance Brokers Association, served on the Insurance Brokers Association of BC board of directors for two years and teaches for the Insurance Institute of BC.
