Ted Balderson
Ted has spent the majority of his professional career specializing in the employee benefits field. Prior to becoming an associate with Christie-Phoenix, he was a benefits consultant with Canada’s largest independent insurance brokerage.
His in-depth knowledge of the insurance market and insurance company procedures gives clients a true measure of expertise. At Christie-Phoenix, his experienced approach provides focused and sustainable benefit plan strategies to businesses of all types and sizes.
Ted has been providing unique solutions to his clients for over two decades. He holds the prestigious CLU designation, and will complete the coveted CEBS (Certified Employee Benefits Specialist) designation this spring. He is a member of the Canadian Pension and Benefits Institute (CPBI). His undergraduate degree is in Economics.
More than anything, Ted values spending time with his family. Okay, and on his Harley. He is active in his community in many different ways: sits on the Board for the Ride to Live for Prostate Cancer, sat on the Finance Committee at Pacific Christian School, sat on the Board for the BC Children’s Hospital Childrun, coaches minor hockey at Saanich Minor Hockey Association, coaches baseball at Layritz, is a member of the Odd Fellows, and served with the Vancouver Island Prostate Cancer Research Foundation.
